Their manager Breck Marsom first combined gospel singers with
a beatboxer to perform for the top London department store
Selfridges during Christmas 2005, helped by Vula Malinga, lead
singer of Grammy-winners Basement Jaxx, and the multi-talented
Richard Lianhart. HBSC has been invited back numerous times
since.
Besides offering anything from uplifting acapella party music to
gentle wedding music or from opening award ceremonies or
fashion shows to providing backing singers for a concert or session
singers to a recording studio, HBSC have performed in public for
such clients as The Royal Academy of Arts, the Royal Yacht Hotel
in Jersey and St. Pancras International and have appeared on BBC
national radio three times.
After being enthralled by our gospel choir and beatboxer instore at
Selfridges in 2007 celebrity DJ Russell Brand immediately invited
them to appear on his BBC Radio 2 Christmas show that year, on
which they performed an unprecedented five live songs, only two of
which were carols! They have also appeared on the BBC 6Music
Sean Keaveny Breakfast Show in Dec 2008 and May 2010.

HBSC has an extremely flexible format that can allow for any
number of singers; the optional inclusion of a human beatboxer;
collaboration with musicians (who we can also provide); and there
are often circumstances where live performances don't require a PA.
Its experienced, charming vocalists are sourced from the music
industry where they work with artistes such as Basement Jaxx,
Stevie Wonder, Madonna, Elton John, Gorillaz, Lionel Ritchie and
Robbie Williams. The principal human beatboxer is Richard
Lianhart, who starred in the international hit musical 'Daddy Cool'
and the 2011 TV ad campaign for T-Mobile.
